Equity Apartments
Equity Apartments is a compelling blend of traditional and modern. The overall design emphasis here is on activation, integration and rejuvenation. This will include preserving the original façade of the existing building whilst incorporating an entirely new six-storey’s above it, as well as a brand new 16-storey building at the rear of the site.
The interior styling offers a strongly accented palette, incorporating both art deco and legal influences, which delivers an elegantly tailored look and feel to the living areas with splashes of rich colour throughout evoking memories of high fashion in the 1930’s.
Responsibility for implementing this finely considered design brief rests with world renowned, Melbourne based architects Hayball. The inspiration for this project is drawn from the immediate environment and history of this locale.
